Introduction

The decade of the 1960's was a turbulent time in our history.
Man landed on the Moon. President Kennedy was killed. Martin Luther King, Jr. sought a peaceful resolution to civil rights, but marchers were attacked by police. The Vietnam War raged, and anti-war protests were staged across every college campus. San Francisco was a mecca for flower children. Women's fashions were liberating as women fought for equality. Hippies were in; Beatniks were out, and through it all the music reflected the times.
What would the world be like if any of this history were changed?
Dr. Tryany Thingonce wants to know.

Thanks to the genius of Dr. Tryany Thingonce and a grant from  MAD Magazine, you have the ability to answer that question. Dr. Thingonce has created a time machine that allows two people to travel back in time to the 1960's.  While there, you can move forward and back in time within that decade. You can make a change in time and look ahead a few years to see the ripple effects your change has had on the rest of the decade. Remember your changes may effect how you find your world when you return!  Document your work carefully; make sure you explore all the possibilities for change both in the sixties and now.
Upon your return, you will present your findings at the prestigious "Too Incredibly Groovy Conference" in Height Ashbury, California. Good luck.
Please read the fine print!

We are pretty sure the time machine will allow you to return, however if it does not, do not do anything I wouldn't do.
