                                 In this section you will have the opportunity to do some of your own research to find
                                 valuable resources about The Beatles.  You will use a search engine to conduct your
                                 search.  You are asked to provide the name of the Web page, the URL, and a short 
                                 description of the sites you found valuable.

Lesson 11:  BEATLE  WEB PAGE ACTIVITIES

Step 2:  Please complete all the activities for Assignment 3.
Assignment 3 Objective:
3.  Given a computer, Web browser, Internet connection, and access to a search engine, input text in the search engine and navigate using the Web browser to locate additional information and resources concerning The Beatles.
Assignment #3 Choice #1 Go to the Dogpile search engine to locate at least two Internet resources you found while researching The Beatles.   Using a word processor list the name of the site, the search engine you used, the URL for the site, the citation for the site, and a short description of the site.  Copy and save the URL's to be used as links on your Web site.   State whether you used MLA or ALA style to write your citaton. Use a word processor and save the information to a floppy disc or your hard drive in a common folder. 
Assignment #3 Choice #2Go to the About.com search engine to locate at least two Internet resources you found while researching The Beatles.  Using a word processor list the name of the site, the search engine you used, the URL for the site, the citation for the site, and a short description of the site.   Copy and save the URL's to be used as links on your Web site.  State wheher you used MLA or ALA style to write your citation.  Use a word processor and save the information to a floppy disc or your hard drive in a common folder.

Assignment #3Only Choice Using one of the resources you found above, list the best Beatle Web site you found.  Write at least 5 sentences detailing why.
