Poet - A person who writes poems or verses by expressing themself with imaginative power and beauty of thought, language, and spirit.

Lyricist- A writer of lyrics, especially lyrics for popular songs.  Like a poet, they express themselves with imagination, words, thought, and spirit.

Poetry- The resulting work of a poet who writes to convey messages and meaning through thoughts, feelings and words.

Prose- The ordinary form of written or spoken language, without rhyme or meter.
