
| Let's say you are out browsing the Web and you see a terrific graphic. The first thing you should do is write to the owner of the page and ask for permission to use the picture. If you explain in your E-mail to them that you are using this for education and a personal Web site, they usually will grant you permission. If you don't get permission and use the graphic anyway, you are violating copyright law. So, be sure you have permission to use a graphic before you add it to your Web site. |
After you are granted permission you may follow these steps to save
a graphic to a floppy disc or in a common folder on your hard drive.
Remember, graphic files are large, therefore only a few might fit on a
floppy disc.
