Lesson 11: BEATLE  WEB PAGE LESSON



                              In this section you will have the opportunity to read about The Beatles and the
                                   people who helped make them famous.  Your mission is to learn all you can
                                   about them and write about what you have learned.  Please save all of your
                                   information to the "a: drive" on floppy discs or in a new folder you label in the 
                                   "c: drive".  Be sure to keep all of the files together for use in other activities.

 
Lesson 11:  BEATLE  WEB PAGE ACTIVITIES

 

 The learning objectives for each section listed above the activities and topics proposed for that section.

Assignment 1 Objective:
Given a computer, Web browser, Internet connection, and links to subject content, use the Web browser to click on the link and get to the page that provides student content, read the information to identify, recognize and differentiate among the four Beatles, their manager and their producer as people who helped influence musical trends.
Step 1: Click on this link to view or print out the rubric for Assignment #1.
Step 2:  Please complete all the activities for Assignment 1.
Assignment #1  Select one of the personalities listed below and write a short (four to six paragraphs) essay detailing what you have learned about that personality.  You can paraphrase and actually write your own biography of one of the personalities.  Use the links below in the resource section to begin your search or use a search engine to do your own search.  Be sure to write bibliographic information about the pages wehre you found information.
