Unwavering Faith
Read
The Eastern sky divided in two
To reveal a path filled with light
On that instant all the world knew
For descending down was a Man in white
He sent four angels to the four winds
North, South, East, and West
They went forth and gathered His children
Those that have past life’s long test
Now the world was screaming, “Take me, take me.”
For we know now Lord Jesus that you’re true
But Jesus answered, “If you wanted to be free,
Why didn’t you take Me to live with you?”
None could answer for they were too ashamed
To say, “Lord Jesus, we never believed.”
They knew only one person could be blamed
They finally realized they had been deceived
Then one man stood up and said, “Dear King,
It’s not our fault, Satan told us lies,
He said I’d be crazy to believe in anything
That I couldn’t see with my own two eyes.”
Jesus looked down and told the man
“There’s no excuse for living in sin,
For My children tried to make you understand
That the way you were living, you weren’t going to win
But you chose to laugh and mock their words
You thought it better to do your own thing
You didn’t feel you had to serve
You didn’t even believe that I was King!”
Then the angels came with His children
And they gathered at His side,
He said, “Blessed are you,
Blessed are you who’ve abandoned your pride
For the gifts I have in heaven above
Are more wondrous than words can say
Blessed are you, My Beloved
For you’ll be made whole this very day!”
Then they ascended up into the sky
With their dreams having been made true
For they didn’t believe Satan’s lie
And their Unwavering Faith pulled them through!
