MY SWEET HOME
Read
I have a sweet home in heaven. It is an unshakable mansion as it is founded on the Rock of ages, the Lord Jesus Christ. No insurance is needed as no fire, flood or earthquake can ever destroy my home. It will never grow old. It will always remain new and ever so beautiful. My home will always be safe, as holy angels will guard over it. No light is needed, as the Lord Jesus Christ Himself will be the light of my home. In my home, there will be no curse, no pain, no crying, no sorrow, no suffering, no sicknesses or death. No kerchief needed, as Jesus Himself will wipe away all my tears.
There will be no weariness or tiredness there as Christ, the Fountain of life will be refreshing my spirit, soul and body. Heavenly melodious music will always bring refreshing sweetness in my eternal home. There will be no devil or his evil angels anywhere in that holy land to frighten or tempt me.
My glorious home is made of jasper, the most precious stone, making it transparent and crystal clear. Never ever the wisest builder on earth made such a beautiful home on earth. My blessed home is prepared by the master Builder and the greatest Architect, the Lord Jesus Christ. No eye has seen nor ear heard nor any heart could understand the beauty and majesty of my magnificent home.
My God created this beautiful world in six days. Look at the sweet-singing colourful birds, the beautiful sky and the snow-clad mountains. The same God Who created this world in six days with the same hands is preparing my wonderful home for the last two thousand years. And yet the work is not finished. No one will be able to grasp the glories of my home in heaven. The street in that land is paved with pure gold as if it were transparent glass. The gates are made of precious pearls. Every gate is made of one pearl, oh, what a great pearl it could be!
There is no night there as Jesus, the Sun of righteousness, will be brightly shining there in the land glory where roses never fade. I will never be hungry there as I will be eating the most delicious food, that is the fruit of the tree of life. It will feed me with different kinds of fruits every month. I will never be thirsty there, as I will be drinking from the Fountain of life, which is so full and free.
In my home above, I will never be alone. The presence of Jesus with all His silver-winged holy angels will be there. I will have sweet fellowship with all the glorified saints in heaven. In my home, I will have perfect peace.
In three ways, I will have fullness of joy there. Firstly thinking about my past, how God forgave my sins and preserved my soul in many temptations and trials. How He revealed to me the truth of salvation and helped me to obey the truth of water baptism and how He gave me the Holy Spirit and so many other blessed experiences. So when I think about my past, it will bring fullness of joy. At present in heaven, I will have the fullness of joy. Heavenly music will bring joy to my ears. And the fragrance of the beautiful garden will bring joy to my nostrils. My eyes will be thrilled to see my heavenly mansion, the holy city, the beautiful gardens, the holy angels, the glorified saints, and the Triune God. My mouth will be filled with joy, as I will taste the most delicious fruit of the tree of life. So in heaven, all the parts of my body, soul and spirit will have the greatest joy. Also when I think about my future, realizing that all these unspeakable joy and pleasure are going to increase and abound all the more all through eternity, that will bring greater fulfillment and satisfaction.
There in my mansion above, I will be growing in divine wisdom and knowledge. There will be a beautiful garden in the land of glory and in that garden, Jesus Himself will be the Tree of life, the Rose of Sharon and the Lily of the valleys. It will be the most fragrant and beautiful garden.
Above all, the sweet fellowship of my sweet Jesus will make my sweet home sweeter and sweeter as the days go by. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah!
In mansions of glory and endless delight,
I'll ever adore Thee in heaven so bright:
I 'll sing with a glittering crown on my brow,
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, 'tis now!
