STRAWBERRY HILL

I'm goin' up Strawberry Hill
My memories linger there still;
And I ain't comin' back 'till I find what I lack
And my soul has been given it's fill

You can drink from the cool, clear fountain,
That flows through the rocks by the spring,
You can touch the devine and it feels so fine,
And bathe in the sweetness it brings

You can tell your secrets to the angels,
Whisper of the longing in your heart;
Or shout it out clear for all the sky to hear
Up there you can be who you want

I'm dancing up Strawberry Hill
My memories linger there still;
And I ain't comin' back 'till I find what I lack
And my soul has been given it's fill

You can sit in the grass and pray
Comune with Mother Nature for the day;
Become one with the trees and sing with the bees;
Feel the pull of the primal ways

You can carry up your anger,
Throw rocks at the mountain top
Yell at the birds,Oh, they won't say a word
And leave it there when you depart

I'm stompin' up Strawberry Hill
My memories linger there still,
And I ain't comin' back 'till I find what I lack,
And my soul has been given it's fill!
