In the wake of the tragedy that has struck our nation many people have been searching for a way to help out in some way. I recently happened across an organization that gives all of us just that opportunity. Heart Made Blessings (HMB)is a group of voulunteers that collects comfort pins, afghans, afghan squares and other items and distributes them to victims and families of such tragedies as the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks. Links to patterns, contact information and anything else you need to know to participate are located on the site. So log on to HMB, pick out a pattern (or feel free to use the pattern I designed) and share some comfort with those who were affected first hand by this terrible event. God Bless.
Welcome to my little piece of the net. I have been crocheting for about 2 years now and am self-taught. I find crocheting very relaxing. I hope to be able to provide some neat links, patterns and other useful information here on the art of crochet.
