Three Bean Salad

1 can French-style green beans
1 can drained yellow wax beans
1 can red kidney beans
1 cup celery, finely sliced
1 onion, medium sized; finely diced
� cup vinegar, cider vinegar preferred
� cup granulated sugar
� cup oil

Drain green beans and wax beans well. Barely drain kidney beans. Place beans, along with celery and onions, in a large bowl with tight fitting lid.  Combine vinegar and sugar in a jar for mixing.  Shake together until sugar crystals dissolve, then add oil.  Mix well.  Pour liquid mixture over bean mixture, stirring to make sure liquid at least touches everything - or if your bowl has a very tight fitting lid, put lid on and shake liquid and bean mixtures thoroughly.  Marinate in refrigerator at least overnight.
