Mushroom Rice

2 cups uncooked brown long grain rice
2, 10 oz cans beef consomm�
2, 4 oz cans mushroom stems & pieces, undrained
2, 5� oz cans mushroom steak sauce
1 cup (2 sticks) lightly salted butter

Mix all ingredients in a 9x13 ungreased pan and let stand at room temperature 1 hour.  Bake uncovered in a preheated 325 degree oven 1 hour, stirring occasionally for even browning.  Liquid will be absorbed.
