French Toast Dippers

4 eggs
4-5 slices bread
3 cups Crispy Rice Cereal
1 Tbs sugar
� tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
� cup milk
� tsp salt
1 Tbs melted butter

Use pizza cutter (or knife) to cut each slice of bread into 4 strips.
Place strips onto a rack in order to dry slightly, at least 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Put cereal in a zip bag and close securely, crush with rolling pin. Add sugar and cinnamon to crumbs in bag and shake up. Pour crumb mix into pie pan.

Beat eggs with milk, add vanilla and salt.

Dip bread strips, one at a time, into the egg mixture, then roll in crumb mixture to coat. Place strips into the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Drizzle the bread sticks with the melted butter.

Bake at 425 degrees for 17-19 minutes. Serve warm with syrup and sauces (for instance, apple sauce) for dipping.
