Fairy Tale

Doesn't everyone have a happy ending
Where princesses meet princes
Whose kiss would wake them from cursed sleeping
And didn't this certain beast see his face
Through a pair of teary eyes
His true heart showing through her darling gaze

Life isn't much of a fairy tale
It's not the stuff of movies
Then again, I'm in one with you
Though I'm still working on a happy ending
For now I'd be glad to have a storybook time with you

Women would become queens
Men would climb ladder-hairs
Children would eat candy houses
Heroes would clear dragon's lairs
Pirates would claim their treasure
And I, I wouldn't know for sure
