The Real Deal

The Real Deal Dean Collins: The "Real Deal" made his debut in the CFWA at
Excessive Force in April, 2000. By October, 2000, he had become a CFWA Tag
Team Champion with Brent Filmore, a belt which he was stripped of shortly
after winning, defeated CFWA veteran Torturous Tony Sly, and had had a CFWA
Heavyweight Title shot. In November, 2000 at No Remorse, The "Real Deal"
defeated Yon Joseph Smasher of Ice Cubes in a Ladder Match to win the CFWA
Heavyweight Title and complete his meteoric rise to the top of the CFWA.
That night also witnessed his formation of Flex Appeal 2001 with Adam Kage
and Ian McMurphy. TRD, as he is affectionately known by the wrestlers and
the fans would go onto defend his title three times against the likes of Yon
Joseph, A-Bomb, and The Diabolical Chuck Taylor before losing it to
Torturous Tony Sly at Extreme Retribution in February, 2001. By April, TRD
would turn his back on Flex Appeal 2001 after a feud with Ian McMurphy and
solidified his status as a fan favorite despite a loss to his arch rival
"Attitude" Chris Ryan at Excessive Force. Desperate Measures in October,
2001 saw TRD claim his second Tag Team Title, this time with Captain Parrot.
After feuding with Torturous Tony Sly and his Dynasty, The "Real Deal"
once again become the CFWA Heavyweight Champion when he defeated "Attitude"
Chris Ryan at Hardcore Holi-Daze in December, 2001. He shocked the fans when he turned his back on tag team partner Captain Parrot to join the Dynasty.
