Pugsly Smirnoff was known to all as the man who never wrestled sober and
usually came to the ring with beer, vodka, or both in hand. He made his
in-ring debut at Finals Fall Out in December, 1998 as Sweet Daddy O' Joe
Perry's tag team partner in a match against John Doe and Brian HavoK.
Pugsly went on to feud with Torturous Tony Sly and John Doe at May-Hem in
May, 1999 before winning the CFWA Heavyweight Title from Sweet Daddy O' Joe
Perry at No Remorse in a Fatal Four Way that also included John Doe and
Brian Havok.  This match is still heralded as one of the greatest CFWA
Heavyweight Title Matches of all time!  After losing the title to Sweet
Daddy O' Joe at Y2Kaos in February, 2000, Pugsly seemingly retired from
in-ring competition.  Although he has returned to the CFWA on a few
occasions to serve as a special guest referee, he has yet to return to the
ring.
