| Matt McClaren Weight: 170 Hometown: Cedar Falls, IA Finisher: Highlander Titles Held: None Like a few other CFWA wrestlers, Matt has a background in high school wrestling. This hometown boy of Scottish heritage has the necessary charm and athletic ability to make it in the CFWA. He also had a foxy valet by the name of Bambi who kept McClaren's opponents on their toes. McClaren made his CFWA debut at Halloween Hell in October, 2001 and had the opportunity to team with Mark Marvel in defeating Riff Harrison and Sidekick Steve. No Remorse in November, 2001 saw McClaren pick up impressive victories in singles and tag team competition. Unfortunately, he and Bambi lost a Loser's Valet Leaves Town Mixed Tag Team Match at Hardcore Holi-Daze in December, 2001. Despite losing his precious Bambi, expect Matt McClaren to continue climbing the ladder in 2002. |
