| -The CFWA is in negotiations to secure the use of a real ring for the 2001-2002 season. I will keep you updated as this story unfolds. -The "Real Deal" Dean Collins successfully defended his NEW Television Title against arch rival Torturous Tony Sly at the tapings on Saturday. However, it was obvious that Sly was in pain before, during, and after the match. In lieu of his poor in-ring performance on Saturday, Tony told me that he has decided to take a hiatus from wrestling until his back and hip feel healthy enough to perform close to or at 100%. Tony told me, "My back and right hip have just been in a lot of pain for the last three weeks or so and I really need to take some time off and see a doctor, then I will make a decision about if and when I will return to the ring because if I can't perform at the level I am capable of then I refuse to go out and embarass myself and a great competitor like the The Real Deal like I did on Saturday." -The webpage is beginning to improve and I take my hat off to the webmaster, but there is still much work to be done. |
