-This week I have news on Torturous Tony Sly's health, the New Era
Wrestling, and the outlook for the CFWA's mid-carders.

-It appears that Tony Sly's lower back problems are persisting and will
likely necessitate taking some time off from the NEW.  However, it is too
early to speculate at this time on whether this persistant injury will
affect Sly's participation in the CFWA.  Tony has told me that if the severe
pain persists, he will seriously consider limiting his participation in the
CFWA or retiring from the CFWA altogether!

-NEW News: Captain Parrot made his NEW debut this past Saturday in a Triple
Threat TV Title Match that saw Death Metal turn on Torturous Tony Sly and
pin Captain Parrot to become the new TV Champion.  The "Real Deal" Dean
Collins exacted revenge on Alias and made him tap out to the Reality Bites.

-This week, I highlight the CFWA mid-carders, or should I say wildcards
considering their propensity for injury and not wrestling at shows they have
been booked for.

Brick: Despite the fact that Brick is undefeated and more muscular than any
CFWA wrestler, past or present, he has yet to be tested by the upper echelon
of the CFWA and has also become quite injury prone. If Brick can hone his
wrestling skills and avoid the injury bug, he should be able to rise to the
top in the CFWA!

A-Bomb: A-Bomb is yet another injury prone wrestler on the roster.
However, the fact of the matter is that A-Bomb is probably the best natural
talent in the CFWA and with some dedication, he could become the best pure
wrestler in the CFWA.  Considering his resilence, high-flying abilities,
technical prowess, and strength, A-Bomb could easily elevate himself to a
main eventer and become THE unstoppable force in the CFWA, but only time
will tell.

Lost Angel: This high-flying fan favorite had only a short stint in the CFWA
this past year and it is unknown whether he will return to the "East Arena,"
but if he does, he will likely become one of the most exciting and dangerous
mid-card wrestlers in the CFWA.

Death Metal: Considering Death Metal's past no-shows and unpredictable
nature, it is unlikely that he will be seen in the CFWA again, but if he is
rest assured that he will rule the roost among the CFWA's hardcore
wrestlers.

The "Real Superstar" Nick Best: Although a newcomer to the CFWA, Nick Best's
distinct size advantage, technical expertise (he is the only active CFWA
wrestler to have been officially trained), and pure strength will make him a
force to be reckoned with.  He has already captured Tag Team gold and under
the guidance of "Attitude" Chris Ryan, he will no doubt be gunning for
Torturous Tony Sly's CFWA Heavyweight Title.

Adam Kage: Kage's successful rookie season demonstrated that he has what it
takes to be a main eventer in the CFWA.  He is probably the most technically
sound and proficient wrestler in the CFWA.  What he lacks in hardcore antics
or high flying manuevers, he definitely makes up for with in-ring
intelligence.  Expect big things from Kage in the upcoming season.
