Last weekend saw the culmination of a very successful CFWA season as the
CFWA went out by showing the fans of the CFWA Excessive Force!

-Despite his affinity for green hair and goggles, Mark Marvel appears to
have a future wrestling in the CFWA, although future competition would not
be against 130 pound 13 year-olds.
-The King of Hardcore Invitational Matches were so brutal that even though
Brick and Adam Kage won their respective qualifying matches, the injuries
they sustained in the matches prevented them from wrestling in the finals
the second night.
-Speaking of hardcore, it is a wonder that Nick Best is still alive after
taking a an eight foot fall off a ladder through TWO tables!!
-We are sad to see K-9 leave the CFWA, but it was heartwarming to see him go
out on top of the "heap of hardcore" because anyone who knows K-9 knows that
it couldn't have happened to a more hardcore son of a bitch or a nicer guy.
-We are also sad to see the departure of Ian McMurphy from the CFWA.  This
last weekend he proved once again why he is one of the greatest CFWA
Heavyweight Champions ever and the best pure wrestler in the CFWA.
Underneath that cocky exterior that Ian McMurphy exhibited to the crowd,
outside of the ring, Ed Murphy was and is a class-act that always was
willing to "go with the flow" and available to teach others.  Ed will leave
some big shoes to fill!
-The second night of Excessive Force saw Torturous Tony Sly become the
federation's first three-time Heavyweight Champion in probably the most
brutal CFWA Heavyweight Title Match ever!  However, "Attitude" Chris Ryan
stole the spotlight the second night by capping off a very success four
months.  Not only did he win his second federation title by teaming with
Nick Best to win the vacant CFWA Tag Team Titles, but he also defeated
former CFWA Heavyweight Champion The "Real Deal" Dean Collins in an Ultimate
Grudge Match.
-Next week I will release my award for Rookie of the Year, Wrestler of the
Year, Top Bumps of the Year, Top Tag Team of the Year, "Heel" of the Year,
"Babyface" of the Year, and Top Matches of the Year!
