| -With less than five days until the 3rd Annual Hardcore Holi-Daze, the CFWA is abuzz with numerous topics, all of which will be covered in this edition of the Mark Report. -The front office is telling me that Hardcore Holi-Daze may be the most entertaining show of the semester, and that if you miss the second night, you will be bound to kick yourself in the ass! -Speaking of this weekend, Commissioner/CFWA Heavyweight Champion "Attitude" Chris Ryan announced the Riff Harrison will face MDW Television Champion "Shooter" Chet Hartwood and Axle "The Grizzly" Bayre in a Tag Team Handicap Match this coming Friday at Hardcore Holi-Daze. Geez, give the guy a break, it is bad enough that the Dynasty cost him the Black Hawk County Title and saw to it that his tag team partner turned on him! -Is anyone else wondering why Thanos' 3-1 record has yet to earn him any type of title shot in the CFWA? -The word around town is that the talent jumping controversy between the MDW and the CFWA has subsided, but you never can tell when it may re-emerge. -The rumors are continuing to circulate about Adam Kage making an in-ring return in early 2002, but as of yet nothing has been confirmed. -My sources tell me that Captain Parrot will be challenging arch-rival "Attitude" Chris Ryan for the CFWA Heavyweight Title on Friday night. - The injured Matt McClaren told me that he doesn't plan on wrestling this weekend, but if he is needed, he will be available. In a related story, McClaren's valet Bambi is rumored to be having her first match this weekend. -Both Brick and Torturous Tony Sly have been fighting sore backs as of late, but rest assured that when they step in the ring on Friday night for the CFWA's first ever Last Man Standing Match, they will nut it up and give it 110%. |
