THE "MARK" REPORT: April 16-23

-The big news from the CFWA this weekend once again involves the ailing CFWA
Heavyweight Champion, Torturous Tony Sly, who suffered a lower back injury
while wrestling on Saturday in the CWF in Evansdale. Although Sly's shoulder
is healing well from the chair shot he took from A-Bomb, his right hip has
been making it difficult to walk and wrestle since Reckless Abandon.
Sources close to Sly say that he may be following in the footsteps of his
idol The "Hearbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and lose the CFWA Heavyweight Title
and "pass the torch" at Excessive Force before retiring from the CFWA.  The
question then becomes, who will leave Excessive Force CFWA Heavyweight
Champion and become the future of the CFWA, Ian McMurphy or The "Real Deal"
Dean Collins??

-In more upbeat news, it appears as if A-Bomb, Death Metal, and Lost Angel
will be participating in Excessive Force, although this is not confirmed
yet, all three were seen at the CWF show on Saturday.  The addition to the
card of these three daredevils would be an added bonus and with the King of
Hardcore Invitational slated for the show, it is only obvious to assume that
these three will definitely play a significant role at Excessive Force.

-Last year's Excessive Force saw the CFWA debut of The "Real Deal" Dean
Collins, the departure of numerous CFWA superstars (Simon E. Xavier, Brian
Ash, Sweet Daddy O' Joe Perry, Lil' Sexy Ace Saathof, The "Firebird" Paul
Phoenixx, and The "Avalanche" Mike Frost), and Ian McMurphy defeat Torturous
Tony Sly to win his first CFWA Heavyweight Title.  Will history repeat
itself?  Will the CFWA bid farewell to any of its superstars, if so, who?
Will Ian McMurphy once again defeat Torturous Tony Sly to win the CFWA
Heavyweight Title?  Only time will tell!

-The front office was quite impressed with the match between The Real Deal
and Adam Kage at Reckless Abandon, and even though The Real Deal won the
match and earned a CFWA Title shot, fans can expect big things from Adam
Kage in the near future and a run as CFWA Heavyweight Champion is by no
means out of the question.

-Fans are also abuzz about the phenom known as Brick, who since debuting
back in December at Hardcore Holi-Daze has yet to be pinned in the CFWA.
Although not present at Reckless Abandon, Brick is likely poised to return
to the ring and continue his path of destruction through the CFWA.

-In other news, "Beautiful" Brent Filmore and Gabriel Octane are no longer
wrestling for Jim Gagnon's All American Wrestling in Wisconsin. Does this
mean a full time return to the CFWA for these ring veterans? Stay tuned for
more details on this breaking story!
