| Chris Ryan was brought into the CFWA to replace his uncle, former CFWA Commissioner Mike Dowell in October, 2000. Ryan was a timid and fair commissioner and made matches that the fans wanted to see at first but then he joined Flex Appeal 2001 at Hardcore Holi-Daze in December, 2000. He then turned into a power abusing, rule breaking, hot tempered commissioner with a bad attitude and was from then on known as "Attitude" Chris Ryan. Always berating the crowd and telling them to "SHUT UP," he has easily become one of the most hated men that the CFWA has ever seen. He pulled his strings to help Flex Appeal 2001 and in return, they helped him to train and molded him into one of the CFWA's best high-flying wrestlers. He also had a lengthy reign as Black Hawk County Champion. This is one powerful commissioner that you do not want to cross. Being a key player outside of the ring he then established his credibility as being a key player inside the ring as well. He tagged with The Superstar Nick Best to capture the vacant CFWA Tag Team Titles at Excessive Force in April, 200. From there went on to form the Dynasty with himself, Best, and Torturous Tony Sly at Guilty as Sin in September, 2001. Despite the crowd's chants of "Wal-Mart," "Attitude's" determination and quickness in the ring has allowed him to obtain the CFWA Heavyweight Title, which he captured in Fatal Four Way Ladder Match at No Remorse in November, 2001. Unfortunately for "Attitude," he lost the title to his arch-rival, The "Real Deal" Dean Collins at Hardcore Holi-Daze a month later. |
