My thoughts on this week's Raw: This week was a so-so show. Nothing really stuck out. I'm curious to see where they're going with the Jericho/Trish storyline. The Goldberg deactivation was kind of lame. I can understand that they did that, with Goldberg headed over to Japan for a couple of shows. I would have done an angle where Goldberg attacked Bischoff, and ended up suspended for attacking a GM, or something along those lines.
Randy Orton as IC Champion is a good move. I'm starting to dig his character. Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair, both continue to amaze me. The end of the show, with Foley walking out of the building left me scratching my head. I don't know what their explanation will be, but I'll be tuning in on Monday to find out what happens.
Now, as for last night's Smackdown: I actually watched it. Mainly because I was recording it for my brother who lives in El Paso; they don't have a UPN affiliate there, and thus they don't get Smackdown. It was a pretty decent show. While they don't have the same calibur of superstars that Raw has, the Smackdown crew still has some good stars The Four Way match was entertaining. I sure miss Kurt Angle on the show. The in ring promo's were kind of lame; the wrestlers need a lot of practice in that area. It was good to see my favorite guys on the show: Big Show, Rikishi, Eddie Guerrero, Farrooq, and Rhyno. The show just isn't that great, in my eyes. I'd love to see Big Poppa Pump jump over to Smackdown and be the wreckless heel he was in WCW, but I doubt that would ever happen. Heck, I wish they'd let Steiner be the Big Bad Booty Daddy on Raw, but it just won't happen. It was also good to see The Cat up to his old self, again, too. Well, I'm headed off to El Paso for Christmas. So, my next update won't be until the New Year.
