SNOWMAN

The snowman stands in icy lands
With frozen powder in his glands

In ice so thick, it ties his hands
No one says they understand

How snowmen can survive this land

The late night freeze and early frost
Will kill and toll their deadly cost
With frigid air and will to kill
The snowman stands and has his fill
Eating up the winter night
Frigid, laughing with delight
Glazing in the pale moonlight
A dull and pallored shade of white
Growing in his frozen spite
Snowman, Snowman, Sing to me
Inside your ice menagerie
When summer comes you'll be no more
Just coal in puddles by my door
Yet here you stand all cold and grim
Snowman, Snowman, Let me in!
