| Allright! If you're here then you must be curious about the contest and your probably wondering just why it's called a 'minnow' contest. Well...that would be because the ship is the U.S.S....S...Minnow. It's a star ship, full of renagades from the law, trying to start a new life for themselves in an unknown quadrant of space. Sound like Voyager? Well it's not! For one thing, we're trying to get AWAY from earth, not closer to it, and for another, The crew of the minnow is insane...the ship is stolen...and the captain is only five feet tall! So if you have an idea for a character, please obseve the rules we are about to set...thank you.^_^ |
| RULES 1. There is no time limit, because we're not sure how long it will take for people to catch on to this. After we get so many entries (we're not sure how many just yet) we will evalutate them and pick a winner! After the contest is over you are still welcome to send in characters if you so desire...the more the merrier I always say! 2. Drawings of your characters are welcome...but not absolutely neccesary. 3. Bio descriptions of your characters ARE necessary. We want names, not vague descriptions. Things like age, race, gender, likes, dislikes, a history of their lives, family members, rank, and a host of other things would be good things to add to your bio. Also a brief description of the characters personality is a must. Any application which we deam uninformative will be sent back with a request that you add more information. 4. Please use self control when you create your characters...nothing unacceptable, gross, sick or anything like that will be accepted. And if you do send us one of those in the hopes of disturbing us beyond belief...it's not going to work. You don't have the friends we do o.O 5. We don't have anything material to offer for a prize...we're broke here! Leave us alone! What we offer for the winner is this: A permanant spot as one of the main characters of the crew. Other characters will show up, don't worry, but they won't be in the story on a regular basis... We will send you updates on the story and such so you can always know what's going on with your character, and we will take your suggestions, if you have any, in making the plotline....and Valia will draw your character! Valia: What?! I didn't say that! I have so much to draw already! I have to draw character profiles, I have to draw the TOWN, I have to...blah blah blah... Eimaj: Too bad, I've already volunteered you! Valia: ...No guarantees... Eimaj: That's good enough...now...ONWARD! 6. Please send all applications to [email protected] 7. You can leave your name and email address if you want, but it's not a requirement. 8. For crying out loud, make them insane! Or at least interesting! And have fun!! |
