| Seyona and Leli ran into the armory, breathing heavy. Seyona looked out the window, and seeing no pursuers, gave the all clear signal. Leli nervously approached the counter. "Um...excuse me, Mr. Armor person...we kinda need that sword we sold you the other day..." The man looked at her weirdly. "You mean that blue one? A guy came in here yesterday and bought it from me." Leli and Seyona's jaws dropped to the floor. "W-what?" Seyona gasped. "Who bought it?" Leli asked, trying to keep her head. "Oh, one of those blue knights...I think his name was Pikkletov or something..." The armorer said nonchalantly while polishing a shield. "Matilda Knight?" Seyona thought a moment. "Well then, all we have to do is find this 'Pikkletov', and explain to him why we need it back...he'll understand..." She noticed Leli's blank face. "What's wrong?" "Terran told me today...some of the knights went back to Matilda this morning..." Leli stammered. "So?" Seyona shrugged. "Pikkletov might still be here, don't give up hope so easily." Leli sighed, her shoulders drooping. "Terran said that one of the knights was the captain of the blue division...his name is Miklotov." "Yeah, that's the name." The armorer spoke up. "He said he was going on a trip and needed a good trusty sword for backup..." Seyona groaned. "You mean, we have to go all the way to Matilda to get the sword back?" "That's a long way away..." Leli whined. She looked at the yellow scarf still around her neck and she became serious. "What am I saying?? You're right, we can't give up so easily, Terran is depending on me to get the sword back and by golly, I'm GOING to get that sword back! No matter what the cost!" She jumped onto the armorer's counter and raised her fist in the air. "No wind or rain or even deadly evil grizzly bears are going to deter me from my mission. I will prove myself in the eyes of..." She felt a tug on her sleeve and looked down at Seyona. "...what?" "Everyone's staring..." Seyona mumbled. Leli felt herself grow red. "I'll be outside." The blonde quickly made her escape. Seyona shook her head, then she turned back to the man. "Thank-you for the information." She brushed her hands along the daggers, nimbly taking one. When Seyona emerged she spotted Leli by the pond, looking into the water. "Hey, you coming?" Leli's head jerked up and saw Seyona walking away, she quickly started after her. "Why didn't you wait?" Leli asked huffing and puffing from the sprint she had to take. Seyona grinned. "Wanna go on a ferry ride?" Leli stopped dead in her tracks and said firmly, "We're not stealing Terran's boat." Seyona, blinked and looked at her pale skinned friend sideways. "Who said we're taking Terran's boat?" "I thought you-" Seyona shook her head lightly, "No, I was actually thinking of stowing away; how exactly would we be able to steal a boat, especially here?" "Great! So, which boat are we going on?" Leli chattered, suddenly back to her usual happy self. Seyona grabbed a handful of leaves as she passed a tree, going to the shipyards. "Oh, I was actually considering one of those higher class ones..." Leli caught on. "Yeah, we would need the extra change." "I'll meet you on the ship." Seyona winked. They both fell quiet as they engulfed themselves in the crowd of people. |
