| Terran walked in deep thought around his castle, thinking about Leli and Seyona. He stopped in front of the stone tablet, and noticed Luc standing there straight faced. "Hey Luc, see anything interesting lately?" Terran asked pleasently, hoping in secret that he found out something about Leli. Luc stare unwavered. "Um, I noticed you haven't been here for a week or so. You seem to have disappeared roughly when the two thieves went off on their journey to return Flick's sword, Odessa." "I don't think that is of your concern." "Oh, well sure. I just thought since your back Leli and Sey-" Luc's face contorted with anger. "Seyona, " he spat, "is of none of your concern!" Terran stared wide eyed as Luc added under his breath, "and none of mine, either." and turned his back. "Luc is there-" "Leli is outside." Terran's eyes lit up. "Really," Then a skeptic look crossed his features, "Are you sure you ar-" Luc suddenly disappeared. Terran blinked twice, then found himself on the floor a second later. "Wha?" "Oh, Terran!" A girlish voice cried in his ear, "I'm soooo sorry!" The leader of the resistance smiled broadly as he opened his eyes and beheld worried grey eyes and a familiar yellow scarf. "Hey, Leli back so early?" Leli smiled back and nodded, "Uh-huh! And guess what?" Terran placed his hands behind his head, "What?" "Guess who got Flik's sword back?" Terran grinned as Leli showed Terran the sword, "So, you two did it, eh?" "Yup." Terran turned sideways to see Seyona who was looking almost dejectedly at the stone tablet where Luc was standing a minute before. "Welcome back, Seyona." "Huh?" Seyona blinked then slowly focused onto Terran's form with Leli on the ground beside him. "Did you say something?" "We have your rooms all ready. I'll have somebody bring you up your supper since you two must be exhausted from traveling." "Oh, thank-you." Seyona then hestitated, " did Luc return?" "I believe so...he must be tired, too." Terran took Flik's sword from Leli and got up. "I'll give this back to Flik." He started down the hall toward the bar then stopped, "Nice to see you again, Leli." Then continued. Leli squealed, "Did you hear that? He cares for me!" Seyona managed half a smile, "I'm glad for you, but let's get to our rooms." "Hey, Seyona are you okay?" "Yeah, just a little tired that's all." "I'm surprised Luc isn't here to meet us." Seyona's eyes lowered as they filled with tears. "Mmm." Leli looked at Seyona, "Are you sure you are okay?" "Huh? Oh, just got something in my eye. I'll see you later, Leli." Seyona finished and went into the elevator closing the grated door before Leli could enter. As Seyona passed the first floor she fell to her knees and started to cry. |
