Seyona shifted in the tree branches to get more comfortable.  She rubbed her eyes and sorely wished she'd brought some coffee or something with her.  She'd been sitting up in that tree for hours, and she hadn't seen a single Matilda knight.  The sun had already started going down and she didn't have one damned clue.
Then she saw him.  A single, blue knight heading for the largest building in town.    Seyona sat up quickly and squinted at the figure.  There was something familiar about it, but she couldn't put her finger on it.  The knight seemed to stand at the doorway of the building for an unusually extended period of time before he turned the door and entered.
"Bingo..." She whispered, shifting to drop out of the tree.
"This is insane." Leli's voice from below her made her stop in her tracks.  She looked down to see her friend run up to the tree and stop, looking around her frantically.
"Will ya stop runnin' around like this?" Chaco ran up, panting.  "I'm gonna pass out!"
"What's the magic word?" Leli sang, grinning smugly.
Chaco sighed.  "Would ya please stop runnin' around like a lunatic?"
"That's better...but where could she be?" Leli hugged herself worriedly.
"Don't worry so much, Tart." Chaco smacked her on the back.  "Seyona cen take care o' herself."
"I knew it!" Leli pointed at him.  "You like her!"
"Do ya now?" Chaco looked at her.  "You don't know anything."
By now Seyona was trying hard not to burst out laughing.  She moved further up her branch, trying to get a better view.
Creeeaaaaaak
What was that? Seyona looked around, then realized the sound had come from her branch.
Crack!
Uh Oh...
"AAAAAAHHHHH!" Seyona screamed, falling to her doom.  She landed on something soft and cautiously opened her eyes.
"Ack!" Leli squirmed.  "Get it off, get it off!"
"Looks like we found 'er." Chaco pulled Seyona to her feet, helping Leli up.
Leli looked angry for a moment then she glomped Seyona.
"Ack! Leli-"
"Where were you?" Leli pouted.
Seyona then proceeded to pray her friend off her person. "Around.  Trying... to... figure out... how to get into Matilda. Arg, will you get off of me?"
"Sheesh, ya tell me who likes whom." Chaco muttered sarcastically.
Leli shook her head, "No. I know you, you're going to go off on your own and leave me behind."
Seyona gave up, "Okay, fine. NOW will you let me go?"
"You will let me come?" Leli's eyes brightened with tears.
Seyona rolled her eyes dramatically. "Yes, but I'm telling you, you don't want to come."
"Yeah!" Leli giggled, releasing her victim.
Seyona shook her head, "You're going to regret it."
"Me? Regret it. Ha! You must not know me well enough, Seyona! So," Leli breathed in a huge amount of air, "what are we going to do?"
Seyona sadly smiled, pointed to the large building, not three feet away from where they were.
"A building?" Chaco immediately turned into sarcastic mode, "Oh, what horrors." Chaco dodged a handbag thrown at his head.
"You were going to go to a fancy restaurant without us!" Leli argued, hands on hips. "I should have known, you giving us that money and all."
Seyona looked helplessly to the sky, "Just follow me, okay?" She stopped and looked over her shoulder, "And be very quiet."
*Minutes later*
"OW!"
"Leli!" Seyona hissed pushing her friend down behind the bushes. "Be quiet we have only one shot at this."
Leli held up her throbbing toe, "I stubbed it."
"Well, it's your own fault."
Leli rubbed her nose and sneezed. "I think I'm allergic to something, Seyona."
"Are you ready?"
"My nose is getting really itchy..."
"Let's go!" Seyona grabbed Leli's blue shirt and they started to race across the clearing and squat behind a window in the back.
"Now be very quiet." Seyona placed her palms on the glass and slowly pushed the window upwards, then slid into the dark building.
Her feet hit the floor softly, and she scanned the inside. It was a small room; mounds of clothes were strewn over chairs, the floor with just a rare few hung up in the closet. Seyona smiled. She got in the right room.
"Seyona?"
Seyona's eyes widened and she clasped her hand over Leli's mouth; Seyona pushed her finger to her lips. She released her grip and padded her way over to the closet.
Leli's eyes went wide when she saw her fellow thief start to rummage through the filthy clothes. Her eyes went wider still when she picked one up and held it in front of Leli. Then she felt her nose get extremely sensitive. Seyona just stared Then it slowly sank in. Leli was going to sneeze...and she would wake the other knights in the next room. In slow motion, Seyona raced towards her friend, but alas it was too late.
Leli closed her eyes, brought her cupped hands around her mouth and sneezed. It literally echoed throughout the whole building.
Seyona cringed, knowing they were doomed. She waited a couple more minutes. Nothing. Seyona's eyebrows rose and just when she was about to let out a big sigh of relieve...
"THIEF! HELP! THIEF!" A voice rang out.
Both Seyona and Leli watched Chaco run by the window, he screeched to a stop and started banging on the window.
Seyona started to go ballistic, trying frantically with non verbal communications to tell him to get lost. Leli opened the window.
Seyona's jaw dropped.
"SHEESH! Took ya long enuf ta opin a dang window." Chaco screamed using his wings to gain altitude and jumped into the building. He quickly turned to shut the window. "Oh, and if I were ya, which I not, but I wouldn't go out there right 'bout now...the locals are a bit...uptight."
He looked up at Seyona, who was turning three shades of deep red. "What's wrong with her?"
Leli shrugged. "I don't know. But she's looking through people's clothing..."
"Eww." Chaco turned to Seyona. "You have a way weird hobby."
"WILL YOU ALL SHUT-UP YOUR GOING TO GIVE US AWAY!!!!!!!!!" Seyona quickly placed her hand over her mouth when she released what she did.
"Ooooh, great tactic, Seyona. I'm soooooo sure we won' t wake them up." Chaco blinked,  "Uh, who's them?"
"Hey, who are you!?" A knight, dressed in nothing but a white overalls screamed.
Chaco's face drained of any colour.
The knight looked at him. "HEY! YOU'RE THE ONE YOU STOLE FROM ME!"
"Oh crap..."
A multitude of other knights started to rose.
"Uh, " Chaco took a step backwards. "I think it would be a very, yes, a very smart move to, uh, run like.." A pile of clothing cut off what he was saying.
"Yes, and your carrying that for us." Seyona screamed, taking other bits of the Matilda Knight's armor before rushing out the backdoor. Leli quickly behind.                                            "Hey! NO FAIR!" Chaco struggled with the insanely heavy package. They ran into the cool dark night and searched frantically for some sort of escape rout.      Seyona spotted a cart full of hay rattling through town. She motioned for the others to follow her, and they dived into the hay. They never stopped to wonder about why a hay cart was driving through a town in the middle of the night. If they had, Seyona would have sworn that the driver of the cart and the small furry thing sitting beside him were familiar.
