Don't Blame The Actors!
(Saturday; June 16, 2001)
After viewing a film that's left you disappointed,
or felt robbed of your hard earned cash that you've shelled out,
please don't blame the actors for the shitty movie. The blame should
be placed elsewhere.
First; blame the writer [or writers as the case may be] for
writing such a lame ass movie to begin with.
Second; blame the film companies who are buying these
screenplays and spending the big bucks to put them up on the screens.
The actors, directors and everyone else working on the said
project, were hired to do a job and no initial part of the original
writing of that particular screenplay. If anything, I'm sure they did
their best at making it better.
I've read about how many actors have offered refunds to those who
were disappointed with a particular film. I read that Michael
Richards refunded around $250 to people who were disappointed with
Coneheads and he only had a cameo in the film. After reading
John Leguizamo's book, he writes about how many people told him how
Super Mario Bros. was a dumb ass movie [personally, it was
one of my favorites] So, please —
DON'T BLAME THE ACTORS!!!!
