Anyone who lives, works, or goes to school in the City of Camden, NJ is eligible for a library card with the Camden Free Public Library. Anyone not meeting these criteria can join the library by paying an annual fee of $25.00
All card applicants will be sent an Address Verification Card in the mail. Upon returning this card to the library, with ID, they will be issued a library card. The card itself is valid for three years for residents or one (1)year if you are a paying member which is a one (1) year membership.
Books may be checked out (borrowed) for two weeks at a time, and can be renewed either in person or by telephone (If renewed by phone, it can not be after due date has expired.) Late charge is $0.10 per day per book for adults, and $0.05 per day per book for children.
Photocopies are $0.25 per each copy. Computer access, including Internet is free. However, computer print-outs are $0.25 per sheet for black and white, and $1.00 for color print-outs
