Lots going on in the old fish tank these days. Our 2nd CD is on Mp3.com,It's called "Live,last time we looked". Most of our songs are in the top 100 downloads in Halifax N.S. and we're featured on over 40 stations.
Another milestone for City Fish. We've reached 2500 downloads on Mp3.com. Thanks to all for the support.
2 of our songs,"Halfway River" and "Hey Mister" received "Track of the Day" honors on Garageband.com. You can read the reviews of these songs and others on our "Music Page". As a side note John won "Track of the Day" honors for his song "Doable" as well.
On Aug. 3rd we played "Sam Slick Day's" in Windsor N.S. (Krista's hometown sort of). We we're on the bill with Sam Moon,Scott Free and Dutchie Mason. We played a great set and a lot of our friends were there requesting their favorite songs. Debbie Bowes said "It was nice to see a band that played all their own music".Thanks for the kind words Debbie and I hope to see you next year.
On Aug.17 we played the Seaforth Street/Chebucto School Reunion. That was a blast,Larry and I (John) both went to Chebucto School. We played outside in the schoolyard something we always wanted to do as kids. Saw many old freinds and got to jam a song with my old buddy Derrick Mitchel,we all had a real good time.
Played Matt's Place Aug. 30&31. Had a great time,stayed up real late. Lots of requests for our own stuff which was great. While doing one song Krista walked out front to check the sound and one fellow says "Let's here more of your your own stuff",once again thanks for the support.
