October 22, 2003 Newsletter

Hello Fellow Leos.

I apologize for this newsletter being late, but here is what went on last meeting.

- Health Fair:� The Health Fair will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2003 from 9am-2pm at Colonial Forge High School.� We have volunteers for every one hour shift already, but if you really want to help out and haven't signed up, notify me and I'll put you down for the hour of your choice.
- Roadside Cleanup: Our roadside cleanup was a huge success. We had 13 Leos and 5 Lions show up from 9am-11pm and we collected a lovely assortment of trash.� Thanks to everyone who came out.
- Pop Tops and Eyeglasses:� Eyeglasses and Hearing Aids will be collected at the Health Fair so come and bring them in. Also we have an official Pop Top box (thanks to Stephen Nilson) and Michelle Marietta has it in her possession, so if you would like to turn in some of your pop-tops, see her.

Our Tail Twisters concocted the following rules that will be in effect next meeting:
1. Every Sophomore or Freshman in the Club must repeat the last word of their sentence twice.
2. The word "monkey" must be uttered before you speak

Our next meeting will be on November 5th 2003, see you then.
