Send to Humanity_Is_Purged@hotmail.com Your name: Brendan Questionmark AIM: Huh? MSN Messenger: Guh? Yahoo Messenger: Zuh? IRC: MrHoneydew How often are you able to write matches: Once in a purple moon Wrestler's Name: Witter Stanley Height: 6'01" Weight: 201 lbs Age: 26 Description of Wrestler: Likes to shirk the fight if he can, tries to do the least amount of work whenever possible - but he's NOT a slacker! No snob is a slacker! He just is able to manage his time well... Anyway, as for looks, he's clean cut with no facial hair, slicked back short hair and a pristine complextion. He's fit, but not "cut" or muscular - think the bulk of the wrestlers from the 80's. Also sports a pair of glasses, but he won't tell you the maker or model as it's totally exclusive and a one-of-a-kind. For ring attire, it depends if he's planning to actually wrestle in the match - if not, he'll wear slacks, a button down dress shirt, and some Italian leather/alligator shoes. If he's decided to wrestle, he'll be wearing a pseudo-snakeskin tights, D&G Boots, and fine Italian leather driving gloves [he can't have his hands sullied]. Hometown: Wall Street, NYC Style (Hardcore,Technical,High Flyer, etc.) Technical-based with some aerial moves Weaknesses 1. Not exactly thrilled at being in the ring or fighting in general. Why's he wrestling in the first place, then? Who knows? 2. Doesn't have much power, so it limits how much he can lift. 3. Still somewhat of a rookie and young, being new to the whole wrestling business; can be sloppy in the ring. Strengths 1. New or not, was trained by the best and brightest in the technical field. Nothing he does is flashy and he doesn't do extrodinary holds, but just - as he says - does moves extrodinarily well. 2. Quick - not super quick like a cruiser, but quicker than the average tag teamer. 3. Has a good head on his shoulders - knows to pick his battles, how to rile up people and get them off their game. Smart? Yeah. Ring Strategy Well, I generally always do this in a strat as it changes from time to time, but he's used much less in the ring than Dean - good for a spell on Morgan, but tries to not stay in the match for more than a minute and a half at a time. Anything longer than that and he's crying for a tag [sometimes literally if he's locked in a hold]. Very useful, though, in double-teaming moves with his aerial and technical ability. Cheats only when he has to, meaning to escape and tag out. Twenty Signature Moves 1. Chop 2. European Uppercut 3. Back Elbow 4. Armwringer 5. Knee-Slam 6. Running Knee [to the gut] 7. Dropkick 8. Bulldog 9. Neckbreaker 10. DDT 11. Enzuigiri 12. Armbar 13. Boston Crab 14. Drop Toe Hold 15. Dragon Screw 16. Chickenwing 17. Backward elbow off the top 18. Leg Drop off the top 19. Age: 25 Description of Wrestler: Likes to call himself "The Self-Made Man", but in reality he's inherited every dead cent he's received. Trust fund baby or not, he's the conscience of Snob Hill as he's the best one that can reality to the "everyday world". As well, he's more of a fighter than Witter and doesn't mind getting a little dirty and underhanded in his game. For looks, he's got stylish messy top of hair and a finely trimmed goatee. He's more muscular than Witter. For attire, he wears the same as his tag team partner: pseudo-snakeskin tights, D&G Boots, and a pair of fine Italian leather driving gloves. Hometown: "The Financial District", Manhatten, NY Style (Hardcore,Technical,High Flyer, etc.) Mat/power wrestler Weaknesses 1. Like Witter, still new to the business and hasn't really been tested in the ring. 2. Won't fight off being locked in a hold - would rather submit than have anything on him be broken... or sprained... or bruised. 3. A little slower than the average wrestler. Strengths 1. Pretty powerful guy... Yeah, powerful. 2. Adept at the art of cheating and being an all-out bastard in the ring. Will take the extra step to stomp on you when you're down & out. 3. Like Witter, had good training and knows some technical holds that he can put in his power moves. Ring Strategy Well, I generally always do this in a strat as it changes from time to time, but he mainly works the bulk of the matches, performing the same moves over and over, cheating here and there to gain advantage when losing it, and trying to dictate the pace of the match to his style. Twenty Signature Moves 1. Tackle 2. Headbutt 3. Forearm Smash 4. Fireman's Carry 5. Stomp 6. Salto Suplex 7. Snap Suplex 8. Throat Slam Suplex 9. Front Suplex 10. Northern Lights Suplex 11. Texas Clover Leaf Hold 12. Spinning Toe Hold 13. Camel Clutch 14. Choke 15. Figure Four Stump Puller 16. Running bodypress 17. Press slam 18. Back elbow 19. DDT 20. Capitalization - Spear fron the front [Morgan], leg-lariat from the back [Stanley]. 2. Buck Stops Here - Morgan Wheelbarrel Powerbombs Stanley onto opponent. 3. Upper Class - Gory Lock [Morgan] into a slingshot neckbreaker [Stanley]. 4. The SPR [Smarter, Prettier, Richer] - Torture Rack backbreaker into a backbreaker across the knee [Morgan] with a flying knee to the head at the end [Stanley] 5. Double Backtoss 6. Double DDT 7. Vertical Suplex [Morgan] into crossbody from the top [Stanley] 8. Figure Four [Stanley] and Camel Clutch [Morgan] 9. Stanley holds the opponent [usually Full Nelson] while Morgan punches him 10. Double back elbows Tag Team's Finisher: "The Bull Ride" - Doomsday Device Tag Team's Entrance Music: "Nocturne in G Minor" by Frederick Chopin Wrestlers' Gimmick / Personalities: Both, well, snobs. Think late-80's yuppies mixed with the current "metrosexual" and add a dash of just regular ol' rich uppityness and you've got the members of Snob Hill. Team Weaknesses 1. Again, pretty much new to the business, only having worked in various PA/NJ/DE indy shows and only against a handful of tag teams. 2. No flash, no outstandingly strong strengths between the two. Team Strengths 1. While they've been only tagging a short time, they work very well together and see themselves as a team, not two single wrestlers tagging for a bit. 2. On the same note, their styles compliment each other as they cover each other's weaknesses to form a team of one. Ring Strategy Again, I always put this in the strats, but in general Morgan works the bulk of the match, Stanley spells him; the two try to work in tandem as much as possible and try to dictate the match in a slow style, in their corner. Cheating and stalling are always on the menu. Witter's the guy telling Morgan what areas to attack, so by extension, the whole team's got technical ability [but in Morgan's sense, it's more of where the power moves are impacting]. History of your wrestlers: Dean Morgan & Witter Stanley grew up as neighbors in their childhood on very elite Main Line area of Philadelphia. Their fathers were co-CEOs of major Philadelphia banking institution and had bank accounts, shares, and real estate totalling in the hundreds of million collectively. The two children grew up among only the best - education, culture, food, sport, and entertainment. Their fathers worked hard to earn their way up the corporate ladder, learning from their father's before them to be ethical, kind, and humble in every aspect of life. They grew out of poverty and used their industrious nature to pull themselves out of poor neighborhoods into the rich areas. They had to work their way past the glass ceilings of the "better life" and the thumbs of those who wanted to hold them down due to their non-elite past. But the two fathers worked together and ultimately toppled those barriers and broke those roadblocks of the upper tier. However, the fathers' traits were never passed onto their sons as they became self-righteous, greedy, uncaring, and somewhat listless with their lives. They bossed around their private teachers, the people working for their fathers, and even taunting people on the street with money for their own amusement [though, after a bit reality and a bloody lip, they noted not to do that again]. Their fathers were dismayed as they saw their money ruining their sons' lives, making them unruly and harsh to the world - in a word, what they always fought against and hated. By the time they were in their early teens, their fathers moved the headquarters of their company to New York City's financial district, Manhatten. The move only made the two sons worse as they developed stronger ties to the snobbish elite of the city and became more uncaring to all. After they graduated from an esteemed university, the two sons enetered into their fathers' business as lowly clerks - a way for the fathers to try to teacher their sons the valuen of earning something. But the sons took this move as an afront on their skills and stage in life, so they politicked in the offices, secretly bossing people around and making them do their work as they used their names as a point of power. The duo wrecked havoc in the offices and caused a great rift between the workers of the company and the two fathers. After catching word of this, the two fathers gave up on trying to reform their sons and told them to leave the company. More than that, they wanted to disown them - as much as it pained the fathers to do such an act, it might be the only way the two sons would learn what is to respect others, no matter their class. However, the two sons were a step ahead and asked for a disownment of themselves from their family, stating they were too "low class" for them to be apart of. They hired a hotshot lawyer and sued their fathers for thirty percent of their wealth on grounds of abuse and, after greasing the legal wheel, won their indepedence and wealth with ease. Their fathers were just happy to be rid of the two devil children. On their own, they bought the best and kept their money invested well so that they never had to truly work. They changed their names to hide their "lowly" past and continued with their eilte status. After demeaning people for a good amount of time, they figured out a way for them to mock the lower classes at their own game... wrestling! They took up training and competed in some independent federations, hiring wringers or bribing opponents to lose to them to pad their win column and dash the hopes of the rubes in the audience. And that's why they've come here, to BSCW, to continue their demeanment of the lowest of the low... Sample Roleplay: [We cut back to the CFF background, where only now Lenny Zefring stands, looking a bit more relaxed.] LZ: Well fans, we've got one more match tonight and it's a doozy. These two teams, Snob Hill and the Movie Buffs have been fighting each other in what's sure to go down as a storied rivalry that dates back to February of this year. All around the Tri-State region, these two teams have fought, shed blood, and all-out destroyed themselves just trying to destroy each other. So this match shouldn't just be any other one - with the CFF Tag Team titles on the line, it'll be all the more interesting. Here's Chock Full with some comments recorded earlier with Snob Hill... [Cut to the backstage area where the two members of Snob Hill, Dean Morgan & Witter Stanley, stand by with Chock Full, the man who runs and operates this place. The duo wears an odd looking robe made of what appears to be various bills of money over their wrestling gear.] CF: Snob Hill, over the past couple of months, you and the Movie Buffs have had war in the ring with seemingly no end. Do you think you guys can end it here or will it be the Buffs' time to shine? Your thoughts? DM: Thoughts? You... [Morgan stops to hold his laughter in check.] DM: You, of all people, think we're going to give our thoughts on this match? Witter, this... [Dean Morgan looks over the rather middle-class-Joe-ish dressed Chock Full.] DM: Thing here actually has the gaul to elicit any sort of response out of us! WS: Good gracious, Dean! Does this common filth know who we are? DM: I much doubt it, Witter. This thing probably hasn't even picked up a book in the last month, much less anything remotely enriching. WS: Yes, probably doesn't even keep up his own body. Just look at the way he's so out of shape and unsightly. DM: Yes, quite ugly, Witter. [Chock Full's beside himself, not knowing how to react here as the two Snobs continue on.] WS: Ha, probably only knows the boundries of a "Wal-Mart" for his tasteless and empoverished needs. Quite pathetic, really. DM: Absolutely not! People don't actually enter those stores, now do they Witter? WS: I believe so. Just look at this poor soul before us now. Those rags he's wearing certainly had to come from some place. Why not that hideous boutique? DM: Oh, don't be so generous, Witter. Call it what this pig buys his attire from - a sty. WS: Just trying to be gentlemenly, Dean. CF: Uh... You two do know I'm here, right? That I asked you a question? DM: Can you believe this thing, Witter? He talked to us again! WS: Insufferable, Dean. These conditions... Oh, my! CF: You guys do work for me, you know. You shouldn't rip on your boss. [Dean and Witter look at each other, with an almost frightened look... But then they both break out in a riotous laughter as they start to walk off to their match.] DM: "Work for me"! How rich! Oh... Oh... Oh my! The thing actually said he's our boss! WS: Huhuhuh! What a precious idea! I swear I needed such an amusing moment! [The two Snobs walk off, clutching their stomachs from the laughter as they go, leaving a rather dumbfounded Chock Full, who just shrugs before the shot cuts to Lenny.] LZ: Well, Snob Hill showing what they are, unabashedly. Let's head down to the match to see what will happen as the Movie Buffs take on Snob Hill, for the CFF Tag Team Championship.
