Name: Mister Honeydew Breif History: Former EMWC Television Champion; Former ISSW Tag Team Champion. Created 1998. Height: 6'0" Weight: 187 lbs Orientation: Face, although Honeydew really doesn't know any better Age: ... Who knows? Origin [Dew's]: From the depths of where honey flows rich and sweet Appearance: Dresses in black wrestling tights with streams of honey printed along the sides of each leg. His boots vary from time to time, either being his black boots with the golden drop tip or the amber boots. He comes to the ring shirtless as he tries to show off his "amazing" body. His body is tanned, but is not that built up. He wears a black mask that fits tightly over his head. Where the face is supposed to be, there is a single drop of golden honey. Wrestler's personality: Kind of cocky in the ring, as seen when Dew gives the "thumbs down" to his opponents at the start of every match. But it's all in good fun as Dew tries his best in the ring. Theme music: None, really. Instead, the sounds of drips and drops are heard, with bees coming in later on [see intro part for more detail]. Ten favourite moves: 1. Honey Snap - neckbreaker [Not yet mastered] 2. Dewzuigiri - enzuigiri [Not yet mastered] 3. Plancha - sling shot over top rope [Not yet mastered] 4. Honey Drop - leg drop off top rope [Not yet mastered] 5. Axe Kick [Not yet mastered] 6. Leg Sweep [[Not yet mastered] 7. Head butt [though, when Dew does this, he usually gets dazed for a couple of seconds] 8. Honey Smacks - Twisting 3/4 Facelock Bulldog [like Spike Dudley's bulldog] [DEFINITELY Not yet mastered] 9. Heart Punch [Not yet mastered] 10. Dew Point - Kick to the crotch with his pointed boots 11. Dew Dropper - Bulldog Other moves: Stomp, punch, single leg take down [Not yet mastered], Two handed chop to the neck or chest [Not yet mastered], back fist [Not yet mastered], eye gouge, eye rake, dropkick [Not yet mastered], body press off the top rope [Not yet mastered], knee clip [Not yet mastered], splash off the top rope [Not yet mastered], closed handed punch, body press off the top rope [Not yet mastered] Finisher: "Taste of the Dew" Manible Claw Strengths: 1. Very confident in his chances at winnning 2. The Dew Point is to be feared! 3. Quick around the ring - He's the best at running away from matches Weaknesses: 1. Little skill or experience at all. If there was ever a true rookie, this man is it. 2. Um... did I mention his skill? 3. Power and size are things he certainly does not have. He's usually the underdog in ever match when it comes to these categories. Background: Not much is known of Mr. Honeydew's past. Not so much because he is "very mysterious". Rather, it's because niether Dew, Waru, nor the man the put Dew in the spotlight, Mark Langseth, has given much of a personal biography of the wrestler. From what has been submitted, Dew CLAIMS to have been several wrestling federations, such as the RMBW, KWDT, PROW, and WSDW. When others tried looking up of any existance of these federations, however, nothing turned up. One might say that the Dewmiester has been in many small, indy places of foriegn promotions, but nothing has come up in those areas at all. So, the logical conclusion is that Dew is a rookie in the truest sense. Not much skill, not much experience, not much build... basically, not much. The mask? Well, again, no one knows if it has any meaning or not. It could be something of respect, imitation of luchadors, or just trying to hide himself from someone. The mention of the "legendary" Mr. Honeydew was on an October 11th EMWC event of 1998. Langseth "called him out", but he was not seen that night. Instead, at the next EMWC event, Mr. Honeydew first showed his face, trying to take down Langseth. He lost the battle and seemed to have fade out of the people's sights forever... Until, that is, on the second week in December of that same year, where the man that Mr. Honeydew "attacked" [many reports have it that it was a pay-off by Mark Langseth] brought him out and named him an associate of his. Mark's made it clear he's not going make him a pupil of any sort and that Dew should learn wrestling outside of Langseth's domain. Which brings the story to Goku Waru, a man much like Honeydew in terms of history. All that's known of Waru is that he has owned a place of fighting in Kyoto. What exact fighting that goes on in this place, however, was undisclosed and the name of the building has been withheld. But it seems that Langseth has confidence in Waru's ability to change any regular man into a good wrestler. Time will tell how good Waru will be with this project. Mr. Honeydew, then, is a man of much confidence, but of little words and, unfortunately for the Dew, skill. UPDATE: In a stunning turn of events, Mister Honeydew actually captured one of the most prestigeous titles in the EMWC, the Television title. While his reign only lasted two short weeks, many have called it the best of times for the title. All have said that this puts Dew in the elite of wrestling again, and his masterful performance at Rumble in Sin City shows why Dew is one of the living legends of the sport today. UPDATE II: Well, it didn't last long, but Mister Honeydew did show the world what a true champion is about. More gold in his future? Maybe... UPDATE III: After his tenure in EMWC as a wrestler, he made some brief appearances there. He then also came into the Clint Fletcher ran Gunryo Pro [G-Pro], but didn't do much there. He then partnered with fellow Waru-pupil, the Mysterious Suited Guy, and actually was able to win tag team gold in ISSW [a testament to that fed's tag division]... but that ended shortly as the fed folded. After that, he's been here and there, doing this and that, sometimes popping up at the side of Langseth as his manager. UPDATE IV: Since all that, Dew was in and out of EMWC and competed in some indy promotions on the side. All along he's never revealed who the Dew is and, well, hasn't really improved either. Still, he's got his following as he now works for the Philly-based promotion, CFF.
