| The Pirates are a team, who with the Indianapolis Sultans of Swat, joined the league in 2006. They are the first foreign team in the history of the league, being based in Hereford, England. They open their inaugural season with Paul Konerko, Eric Chavez, Johnny Damon, and Mark Beuhrle, among others, on their roster. The Pirates play their home games at The Bullpen at Hereford, UK, a $330 million stadium that will officially open on April 3, when the Pirates host the Northampton Mavericks.
