Pic 1; Note inspection hole in lower wing skin to access fuel tank outlet
and Targon fuel line, fuel valve was not secured so line is not straight
thru door hinge bracket, but you can see hinge line. You can see pitot
and wiring to fuel sender and strobes.
Pic 2; right valve in off position. The valves came from Aircraft Spruce
P/N FFV-4 panel mount.
Pic 3; right valve and better look at one piece, multiple bend bracket
(.025 Al). Screws to hold bracket are seen.
Pic 4; note hinge and 4 6-32 nuts in top half of hinge. Three
hold fuel valve bracket and one holds a grommet keeper for elongated hole
for wiring, and plug access when removing wing.
Pic 5; left fuel valve in off.
Pic 6; fuel line, wires and pitot line going under panel, note my home
brew door latch on left door, also guards on mag switched, trim, boost
pump switch, carb heat and home brew throttle (brass knob and plumbing
fittings which squeeze nylon bushing for friction)
Pic 7; the tanks are tee'd together on the right side. You can
see where they tee and go down to the firewall feed-through.
Pic 8; shows where the fuel line comes into the front of the gascolator
and out the top to the boost pump. The boost pump is probably not
necessary and I leave it off when flying, but its there if needed. you
can also see how I stiffend the back of the fire wall with two vertical
1/8" by 1" angles. Also I tried not to have any low spots in the
fuel lines.
