Can I be sure I will go to heaven when I die?
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; (Ephesians 1:7).

The answer is a resounding YES! You indeed can be sure of what will happen to you when you die!

While we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8), God loved us so much and wanted our fellowship that He sent His Son to be the perfect sacrifice (to pay our sin-debt) on the cross at Calvary. By the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave, God proved the ultimate sacrifice of His Son was indeed a perfect payment for the worlds sins. (Romans 4:25).

Now, God gave man a free will. He did not make us like robots but he wanted us to choose ourselves to freely worship Him. However our bondage to sin separates us from the love of God (Ephesians 2:12). God also dealt every person the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). Through the beckoning of the Holy Spirit (John 6:44), God will draw men unto Him. What if we say Im not a sinner!? God gave us His laws, summarized by the 10 Commandments. Have you kept them? Before you answer, think it through! You might be thinking Well, Ive certainly never murdered anyone!. Jesus gave us the true meaning of the law when He equated hatred with murder in Matthew 5:21-22 and when He equated looking after a woman with lust to adultery in our hearts ( Matthew 5:27-29). Who of us has also not broken the first Commandment, to have no other gods before Me? Anything we put before God in our lives is a guilty verdict of the first Commandment! God tells us we have all sinned and fell short of His glory. Anyone who says they have never sinned, 1 John 1:8 tells us the truth is not in us and we are deceiving ourselves. If were guilty before God, what can we do to correct our wrongs?

Gods grace gives us the desire to repent of our sins and turn to Him. Jesus paid the sin-debt for us all on the cross at Calvary. He came as the perfect, sinless sacrifice for us. Through the drawing of the Holy Spirit (John 6:44) we are convicted of our sins towards God. God is ready and willing to forgive us of our sins and have fellowship with us through the sacrificial blood of His Son, Jesus (John 14:6). We must confess that we are sinners, that we believe with our whole heart that Jesus is exactly who He said He was and only He can save us from our sins and hell.
Romans 10:
9: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11: For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12: For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you are reading this and through the drawing of the Holy Spirit realize you are guilty before God and need salvation, I beckon you to search your heart and willingly come to the saving knowledge of grace through Jesus Christ. Bow your head and pray to God to save you. If you have never prayed to God here is a prayer you can put into your own words:

Heavenly Father:..........................................................................
I come to you in prayer asking for the forgiveness of
my Sins. I confess with my mouth and believe with my
heart that Jesus is your Son, And that he died on the
cross at Calvary that I might be forgiven and have
eternal life in the kingdom of Heaven. Father, I believe
that Jesus rose from the dead and I ask you right now
to come into my life and be my personal Lord and
Savior. I repent of my sins and will worship you all the
day's of my life!. Because your word is truth, I confess
with my mouth that I am born again and cleansed
by the blood of Jesus! In Jesus Name, Amen.

Now, I encourage you to get a Bible and study Gods Word, for it is the roadmap for our lives. I also encourage you to find a church to attend so we can learn and uplift the name of Jesus together and also encourage each other!
