What a fantastic performance. Each and every one of you battled, worked hard and did yourselves proud. Well Done!!
We stuck with the same 3-5-2 system with our wingbacks, and the whole defence looked extremely well organised. They coped well under pressure and the amount of times you forced them to shoot from 30 yards out showed how they had them under control. Behind them Mr Robert White, what a great game he had made some vital and superb saves. Our three in midfield did very well, they all worked hard picked up the ball and laid it off neatly and efficiently. Up front, well what can I say we were lighting, every time Knockers picked up the ball and ran at them they looked terrified and Sam's fantastic runs and use of pace wore the defence out and aided us tremendously when going forward.
Collingham took the lead after around 20 minutes through Knockers with a similair goal to the one he got last week, used his pace, strength and dead finishing to put us 1-0 up. To be fair it was against the run of play but I think it gave the team some confidence and there was certainly progression towards passing and flowing football. Unfortunately Ermine pulled one back but their excitement was short lived, when Sam scored a great goal. He used his pace to get to the ball then drilled the ball home accross the keeper to make it 2-1. Thats the way it stayed and I was extremely impressed by each and every one of you.

You two both made it hard for me to give man of the match. Richard you were great at the back and organised and led the team with true profeesional, your timing of tackles and awareness of the game was quality. Wilko the wizard in midfield! Twisting, turning, battling, and the vision to involve all the players around you. Awesome, well done both of you.
