Dear Prospective New Member:
Welcome to the Carrollton-Farmers
Branch Area Alumnae Panhellenic Associations’ Recruitment Forum. As soon
as the registration form is completed, you will be officially with the
Carrollton-Farmers Branch Area Alumnae Panhellenic for membership
recruitment/rush. If your form is not completed and turned in today, please be
sure it is returned to Lucia Knudsen at the address below by June 1.
Once you are registered with Carrollton-Farmers Branch Area Alumnae Panhellenic, a copy of your completed form will be available to the local sorority alumnae groups with a chapter at the college you plan to attend. This indicates that you are preparing to go to college and would like for the sororities on your chosen campus to consider you for prospective membership.
REMEMBER, YOU MUST REGISTER WITH YOUR COLLEGE PANHELLENIC TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR SORORITY RECRUITMENT! Once you have registered with your college Panhellenic, you will receive further information in the late spring or early summer months from the college Panhellenic. Please follow the deadlines outlined in your college membership recruitment/rush booklet.
It is appropriate for you to inform family friends, teachers, and neighbors of your plans to participate in membership recruitment/rush at the college you have chosen. It is not appropriate for you to request a recommendation or reference from a casual acquaintance or stranger. It is the responsibility of each sorority’s alumnae association and collegiate chapter to secure the recommendations needed. It is not the responsibility of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Area Alumnae Panhellenic Association to secure your sorority recommendations.
