• Most species of fishes, there are separate males and females

• male to female change

• female to male

• Oviparous- lay eggs- external fertilization

• Ovoviviparous- young is developed inside mother�s body, but are not directly nourished by the mother�s body

• Viviparous- species that bears living young and in which the unborn young are directly nourished by the mother�s body
