• 9th June - Bad news for Stephen fans - Polydor have dropped him from his record contract. However I don't think this is the end of the world because he may be able to get a new record deal, and even if he doesn't, he can continue singing doing stuff like musicals and films because that is one of his dreams. He doesn't have to be a pop star to be famous, and with his chart positions sometimes being a bit disappointing, maybe that is the way to go for him. Good news for Shane fans however as he is getting back into the music business with his new band 'Redhill' which he has set up with Ben from Phats & Small. It is more of the type of music that Shane likes (hip-hop) than what you are used to hearing from Boyzone. I have heard that their first single is called 'Bubblin in Dublin' but I am not sure if that is true because I can't imagine Shane doing something that sounds so cheesy if he is serious about this.

• 4th May - Well if you havent already heard (which I think is pretty unlikely) it seems that the chance of the Boyzone Reunion Tour ever going ahead is extremely unlikely. Ronan seems to be too determined to make his solo career work, and in my opinion doesn't care about the rest of the lads who helped make him what he is. I don't want to blame it all on Ronan as I guess no one except the Boyz themselves know the whole story and exactly what is going on (and some of them don't even know what is going on!), but the way I see it is that everyone except Ronan wants to do the tour, and because he doesn't want to, it wont go ahead. I have also read and interview with Keith saying how Ronan has really upset him, and from hearing as much as I can about the story I can only blame Ronan for it. I am sure that those of you who like Ronan the best will not agree with me butI have no favourite member so I am not really biased, and I have to say that to me I think that Ronan (along with Louis Walsh I might add!)is the cause of what I think is pretty much, the 'split of Boyzone'. I can't see much happening now after this. Anyway, changing the subject entirely, Stephen's single, 'Stay' was released this week so if you have not yet bought it make sure you do. Ronan's single 'Lovin each day' failed to make it to number one in the UK charts, and Mikey's album did pretty badly (but I guess that was to be expected, although I have it and I think it is excellent), so lets get Steve to number one this time!

• 12th April - Sorry I couldn't tell you all this a few days ago but have been in Bournemouth for a few days with my boyfriend and just got back. Firstly, Mikey's single reached 62 in the UK charts (Not suprising really with the amount of promotion done for it so it isn't that bad). Other Mikey news is that his tour has been CANCELLED. This is supposedly due to him being ill as he is suffering from exhaustion or something, but it might also be partly due to the lack of success of his single. Ronan and Stephen are both awaiting the release of their singles (the dates are still as in the previous update), and so you should watch out for promotion from them (check my TV Schedule page for details). Also, there is Keith news as he has been offered a part in a WW2 movie called the Concelment. I dont think it is confirmed yet but I will keep you updated on whether he is actually going to do it. And finally, Shane is still racing.

• 2nd April - I apologise for the lack of news lately but there hasn't been much to report on. Anyway, the main thing to say at the moment is to remind everyone of the singles due to be released soon by Ronan, Stephen and Mikey. Although we know there probably aren't going to be any Boyzone singles we should still support the individual members by buying all the versions of their singles. The first one of these is Mikey's single, 'You Could Be My Everything' which is released today so BUY IT! Ronan's single, 'Lovin Each Day' is released on the 16th April, and Stephen's single, 'Stay' is released on the 30th April. (These are all UK release dates - I don't know if they are the same elsewhere.)

• March 9th - Disappointing news im afraid. According to all the papers and news sites the tour ain't gonna happen for a while yet. Ronan says he can't take time out of his schedule so that means no tour for the rest of the lads and us fans. I know the papers always blow things out of proportion but I think this time it is true. Ronan hasn't denied any thing and the rest of the Boyz don't want to talk about it. We can now just hope that maybe sometime they will get together, but its not going to be for a long time yet. On a better note, Keith will be a contestent in Celebrity Big Brother for Comic Relief on Channel 4 and BBC 1. Check out my TV schedule page for details of when to catch him.

• March 3rd - ITS RONAN'S 24th BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Ro! Other news is that there will soon be a Boyzone press conference so we will finally hear some news about the future of Boyzone. I think it is going to be on the 17th March (Stephen's birthday and St Patricks Day) but whether it is about a tour, a split of whatever I don't know. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

• February 18th - THE BABY IS HERE! Yvvone has finally given birth to the new Keating baby and its a girl. They have named her Marie (after Ronan's mother) She was born at 2:30am this morning (Sunday February 18th) in Dublin. Both mother and baby are fine.

• February 11th - Well although it looked like the Boyzone tour was set to go ahead after their talk together in December it seems as though Ronan has not yet signed the contract. There seems to be a lot going on between him and Shane, with stories in the press about Shane accusing Ronan of saying he was not gay enough to be in Boyzone and Shane saying some pretty bad things about Ro. How much of this is true I don't know, because you know what the press are like, and a lot of the stories probably have something to do with Louis Walsh. I'm trying not to get too scared, but if Shane and Ro don't patch things up then it could mean there will be NO TOUR. On an slightly better note, Boyzone's official site has been majorly revamped and it quite different. There has been new things added like a chatroom too (although I havent checked it out yet!) Worth a visit anyway - www.boyzone.co.uk if you dont remember.

• January 31st - Not much to report, but you may have heard about the incident with Shane at the Childline concert. If not, it involved him saying, "Here's one for the tabloid papers: 'Kiss my f**king ass'" at the end of their performance, when it was going out live on primetime TV. As you can guess the press had a lot to say about that. Other news includes Keith's Official Site being opened, so make sure you check that out - www.keithduffy.net. As you know Ronan's baby should be here any day now, so I promise I will tell you as soon as I hear any news about that - just keep checking the site.

• January 2nd - Still no major news really I'm afraid. Steve's single, Stay, should be released in March (UK) so there should be promo for that in about a month or so. If you are desperate for more boyzone merchandise then I can tell you that there is a new boyzone annual out. It is quite difficult to get hold of, and I havent managed to get my copy yet, but if you cant find it anywhere you could try Amazon and order it off the internet, or if you live in the UK you could try ordering it through bookshops like WH Smiths.

• December 18th - No major news at the moment. Ronan won Best Solo Male and Best Dressed Male at the Smash Hits Poll Winners Party. Keith and Shane only went in at number 36 in the UK charts with Girl You Know Its True (Not bad though considering they did fairly little promo and had no airplay!) Also, Boyzone have pretty much confirmed that they will be touring around next December, but there are no dates or anything yet. I'll keep you posted.

• December 10th - Unfortunately Ronan only came 4th in Record of the Year 2000. Westlife won it. >-( . However if you wanna support the boyz then make sure you go out and buy Keith and Shane's single tomorrow!

• December 6th - The dates and venues of Ro's second UK solo tour are now available. Check out my tour dates page for information.

• November 29th - Ronan only reached number 6 in the UK charts : (. Still, if you didn't buy it then make sure you do cos I can assure you it is well worth it. Especially 'Fairytale of New York'.

• November 22nd - Just a reminder that Ronan's single is now out so BUY IT! Also, if you have heard the rumours that boyzone have split then I wouldn't start panicing yet. I don't know for sure whether they are true, but as far as I know they mostly come from Louis Walsh, and papers blowing things out of proportion. The boys have said that they aren't true on numerous ocaissions, and both Ronan and Keith have denied truth in the rumour about a fight.

• November 19th - Stephen has become an uncle for the 3rd time. His sister Michelle gave birth to baby Leah (sister for Jordan) on the 17th November. Almost on Uncle Tony's birthday! (He was 19 on the 18th November - BOYZONE DAY).

• November 18th - No news but I thought since it is November 18th I would remind you all that it is boyzone day, and 7 years exactly since the best group in the world was created.

• November 15th - Louis Walsh is no longer boyzone's manager. I dont have time to go through the whole story but all I can say is thank god. I mean, I know he may have got boyzone to where they are today, but he obviously doesn't want them around anymore, and I think boyzone are big enough to cope by themselves now.

• November 11th - Well, according to information I received through a mailing list Mikey has put back the release of his single, album, and put back his tour. However I do have some better news. If you couldn't see, or missed as I did, Ronan performing his concert on Sky One then don't worry, a video of his tour is going to be released on 27th November!

• October 29th - Mikey's single If You'd Only is now to be released in the U.K. on 13th November, so make sure you buy it! Ronan's is released a week later on 20th November. His single, The Way You Make Me Feel, features the vocals of the one and only Bryan Adams.

• October 27th - If you read the rumours in the paper or saw the big breakfast news as I did you may have been shoked to hear that Stephen has been dropped by his record company. However Polydor Records say he has a new single planned for release early next year and the label is mystified as to why anyone should have drawn this conclusion. They say they are very much "looking forward to beong part of his future success.

• October 21st - It's Ronan Keating weekend on my local radio station, Plymouth Sound, and they are giving the chance to win Ronan's album. If you live near Plymouth then its on 97fm. I've just won an album even though I've already got it, and now I'm going into a prize draw for the chance to meet Ronan in person at the Albert Hall! I'll let you know if I win when they give the results tomorrow.

• October 16th - Shane's new T.V. series starts tonight. He will be presenting a program called Shane's World, which can be seen on Men and Motors at 11:00pm. I know not many people will have this channel but I'm lucky enough to have On Digital which has the channel!

• October 16th - Mikey's new single, If You'd Only, is out on 30th OCTOBER so make sure you BUY IT!

• October 12th - Stephen's single went in at number 11 which is a bit disappointing because it didn't even reach the top 10.  It did have competition from the likes of Westlife and Mariah Carey, All Saints and Texas but I think it deserved to at least reach the top 5.  Well done anyway Steve - I think it should have been number 1.

• October 2nd - I went in town after school today and bought Steve's new single. One version has loads of remixes and I couldn't afford two so I only bought the one, but the one I did buy has a great new track, Waiting For This Feeling, Where Did You Go live on a boyzone tour, and a CD ROM bit which I am going o check out in a minute. So if you live in the U.K. make sure you buy his single before Sunday cos we want Steo to get to number one this time!

• October 1st - I just wanna say a big happy birthday to our very own Keith Duffy!!!!!!!!!!!

• Okay - forget what I said about Steve's single cos the release date has changed. (I don't know why) It will now be released on 2nd October.

• Stephen and Shane joined Keith for the last in the series of F.B.I. on Saturday. Stephen performed his new single but unfortunately Shane and Keith didn't. Remember - STEVE'S SINGLE 'I BELIEVE' IS OUT ON 25th SEPTEMBER.

• Mikey's new single 'If you'd only' is going to be released in October so he should be doing promotion soon. I'll update you as soon as I hear when he's going to be on anything.

• Shane and Keith are gonna be releasing a single together. I don't know the name yet but they're gonna be taking the mick out of puff daddy and westlife apparently.

• There is big news for the Keating family as Ro and Yvonne are expecting their second child. The little brother or sister for Jack is due sometime around February.
