JURISDICTION OF THE DIVISION :-

Jurisdiction of Tezpur Central Excise Division extends over Darrang, Sonitpur, Lakhimpur and Dhemaji districts of Assam and Tawang, East Kameng, W. Kameng, Upper Subansiri, Lower Subansiri, East Siang, West Siang and Papumpare districts of Arunachal Pradesh. It is bounded by the Tibet Autonomous Region of P.R. of China and eastern part of Bhutan in the north, river Siang in the east, the mighty Brahmaputra in the south and Kamrup district of Assam in the west.
