Harrisburg Visit: There were some recommendations made at the meeting from the visits that were made to the individual centers. There needs to be more minorities recruited. There are hardly any in the CETP scholar groups. Another suggestion was made about the getting more K-12 committee members from the outside community. We only have two so anyone who has suggestions or nominations please make them known. Dr. Cignetti was also told that we need more workshops for collaborate teachers.  The scholars need to be more networked together was another suggestion. For the CETP course they want the standards on the syllabuses. We must connect our college to community colleges in are area. Each college is to make a strategic plan. Dr. Cignetti passed around the strategic plan to get more minorities in the CETP program. We are also to start tracking the students who are taking and who have taken CETP courses.

Dean Jones: She is working on getting CETP endorsement written somewhere on the  transcript.
