Scholarship Meeting

Called to Order: 12:00p.m.

Recruitment Plan:  Need plans in writing by next Thursday

Amy Woodward:  She is our connection in admissions and community colleges. If you want to work with her please email her at [email protected]

Projects: Please find a project and have a write up for next Thursday.

Student Teaching: Project is to enhance teaching in the high schools

Inventory: We need to have inventories on physics equipment, biology equipment, and chemistry equipment. Nicole, Jackie, and Meghan volunteered.

Webpage: All should be up and running except Julie’s. Nicole and Jackie have their webpages updated, but Becca and Meghan are still working on theirs.

9/25/03: Dr. Peard will be here, so everyone should try to drop in here and there.

10/6-7/03: Stop up at the Natali Center to see inquiry teaching in the performance center.

11/18/03: At 9:30-1:30 the summer inquiry based teachers will be back to talk about what happened with their lessons. They are going to talk about what worked and what did not work. Feel free to stop into Eberly to sit in on the discussion.

Dr. Lord: Dr. Cignetti talked to him yesterday about the workshops. He gave a presentation to the science education faculty, and they were very impressed. Workshops are going to be offered to the professors and students coming up soon.

Next Week: Have both write ups in as soon as possible
