Eternal Longing

As I open my eyes
To moon´s brightness,
There is nothing I see
But your beauty and face

Through my eyes
No other beauty is seen;
Neither a bird sing,
Nor a muse fly...

It was all the same in me,

  On the day you said,
  You betrayed your heart,
  On which you recklessly,
  Left me in sorrow behind


Fortified under your wings,
Now I truly feel so safe,
There are some more things
I have yet to say, to you

Like the storms to a sailor,
Your hair´s waving in breeze
Will always be on my mind
Totally engraved...

  So will be your loving eyes


Letting my heart sail into
Your very divine being,
I, in fact, let myself
Get closer to the true
Essence of beauty -- that
In your heart resides.

 By the way you look back at me,
 From the sky so heavenly
 Nothing of this odd mortality,
 But an angel you must be.
 Sparkling stars are lucky,
 They´re the closest to you !

 Eternity will claim my soul too,

 The holy song of the verity,
 Garden of Eden will then let me in


Not every promise given
Is as often kept as yours

My own promise once

Or as I believe, my destined love
In the purity of heavens,
If not in the oddity of earth,
