Our trip to Serenity Egyptian Stud of France in early March, 2004, was one that neither I or my crew will ever forget. The beautiful French countryside welcomed us with open, Serene, arms. Spacious and elegant facilities, warm invitations, and a lot of good wine graced our stay. The hospitality and scenery was great, but the horses were even better. Read on to find out! ![]() Serenity's Senior Stallion, ZT Faa'iq ZT Faa'iq was the Unanimous European Junior Champion Colt as a yearling, and is stomping through the show circuit even faster than his sire before him. As a breeding stallion, his movement, type, eye, and general appeal can't be beat. We saw several very exotic looking foals during our stay at the stud. ![]() Serenity's Junior Home-Bred Stallion, Serenity Dassias Serenity Dassias is the sire of one of our new editions, Serenity Ibn Fayek. We bought the young colt after seeing the sire, seeing the dam, seeing the foal. Dassias is an amazing athletic prospect, and is out of the multi-race winner Crusader. Dassias' pedigree is also marked with RDM Maar Hala and Fa Sera, two champion-producing mares. ![]() The Beautiful Cashia (Simeon Shai x Nourah) Serenity Stud is also home to some of the most beautiful mares in SIM. The elegant Cashai was all too willing to grace us with her presence, and our crew was certainly delighted with this example of the best of Egyptian breeding. ![]() "Miss Future" Nimeelah (Nigmh x Gameelah) We were also given the chance to see the ever-athletic young Nimeelah, whom we nick-named "Miss Future". We see this mare, if any, as an excellent future to the breeding of SEAs in SIM. Several more foals, many more beautiful mares and some secret upcoming Serenity surprises trotted for the crew.
