It's OK to be Angry

Anger is a natural and valid feeling to have when you've been hurt. It's perfectly normal to feel this. Anger in moderation is very healthy. However, anger usually stems from the pain caused by the person who hurt you.

In order to heal you must not keep this hurt and anger inside. There are very good and safe ways to release these feelings without hurting anyone else. Here are some good ways to release the anger:

    1. Hitting a pillow
    2. Go for a walk
    3. Try playing some type of sport like soccer or football
    4. Cry
    5. Write a letter to the person explaining the hurt and anger you feel and why (you don't necessarily have to send it or give it to them)
