Hi. I'm a selfmade freelance writer.

I write on a broad range of subjects, for publishing,
and fun.

I have been writing a society column for the People Sunday Newspaper . I won the April 2005 best reader`s letter of
the month-DRUM East Africa, my letters articles and poems
have also appeared on various publications including
the Sunday Nation-Kenya,the Saturday Standard and Radio BBC

I like to read what other people write .I also read old
issues of The Spectator,The Reader's Digest
and stories compiled by Short Story International.

Check once in a while for a new article/story/poem, both the formerly
published, and others.
Also some links to websites of great help to anyone who
considers writing a serious business.

Ciss started reading stories at the age of five, with her uncle,as the interpreter.
Having no siblings, she spent her playtime reading and making up stories in her head.
She was a dreamer from an early age-still is.She read everything she could find, and
woke up early to watch the sun rise. She is working towards being a cross breed of
Barbara Kimenye[simple and clear],John Ruganda[quick witted],Maeve Binchy{smooth}
and Deborah Ross[real].She has overread Barbara Kingsolver`s "the bean trees" and
still clinging to Susan Howatch`s Wheel of Fortune, after a stint with Margaret Mitchell`s
Gone with The wind.
