The Comfortable Sports Bra
Sports Bra
Choosing the comfortable sports bra is based upon some basic principles. The most basic principle is to have go-o-od time when you choose your sports bra. Other basic principles are your body structure, personal preferences and chosen activities. It is important to consider the body structure - what is the cup size, how does the cup size relate to the rib cage measurement, how long is the torso. Knowing the bra size is useful, but it is not a perfect fundament to find the most comfortable sports bra because of the variety of the sports bra sizes and of the individual female bosom.
The sports bra is a personal garment. Women do not have the same body structure and have personal preferences to the sports bra. Many women donot like underwires. Some women prefer no-bounce support while other women care less about it. Finding the right sports bra style depends on the amount of vertical movement you will be experiencing in your chosen activities.
Finding the most comfortable sports bra is also based upon a shop with a wide variety of sports bras. It is important that women connected to the shop have a profound interest in and knowledge of sports bras. Test a sports bra of your preference, take your time, jump up and down to feel the support of the bra, test the next sports bra and test a third sports bra.
The Principles of the Sports Bra
| 1. Support 2. Comfort 3. Ventilation |
1. The support of the sports bra is a basic necessity for the comfort and motivation of the active women. The degree of activity can vary from moderate motion to the high activity of aerobics instructors, but, generally, the need to wear to a good sports bra is as fundamental as wearing the right running shoes.
2. The importance of the comfortable sports bra is to avoid the pressure of the breast to the other breast and to avoid sore shoulders.
3. The sports bra must have a very good ability to transport or ventilate natural moisture ("sweat") to prevent that skin of the breasts is dry and to keep the inner part of the sports bra as dry as possible.
Personal Considerations on the Sports Bra
| - Do I want an added structure for no-bounce support? - Does the sports bra have an all day wear ability? - Does the sports bra have separation and support? - Does the sports bra have easy on/off capability? |
These are some important considerations on the sports bra you must decide.
Two Types of Sports Bras
The two types of sports bras are the pullover style sports bra and the separating encapsulation style sports bra.
If one of your preferences is no-bounce support, the pullover style sports bra work best for women with A and B cup sizes, because it uses compression or flattening of the bosom to provide no-bounce support. But the pullover style sports bra is also useful for C cup and up sized women engaged in activities with little vertical movement
With an encapsulation style sports bra, C cup and up sized women have a better possibility of getting support in activities, i.e. running, with medium or high vertical movements because the breasts are managed separately. So the benefit of the encapsulation sports bra give you the possibility yo movement in high intensity activities like running.
The Good Sports Bra
If you hand wash and dry your sports bra instead of machine handle, it will last twice as long. On average, a machine handled sportsbra will last about six months.
