An Exercise in Visualization for The Third Side

Teen Severus Snape

I've decided to embrace the dark lines of his eyes, it makes them stand out more. I wish I'd made his hair stringier, but I guess in my mind it's as stringy as it needs to be. I do like how his nose is too big for his face, as that detail was planned. He and his dad (see below) both have this problem, and I think it works.

Mr. and Mrs. Snape

I'm still not happy with Mrs. Snape. I intended her to be more delicate and less earth-mother-like, but this is what happened. *sigh* I like the 5-o'clock shadow on Mr. Snape, but his beard makes him look like an extra from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Maybe if his hair was less full, he'd look less biblical.

Teen Lucius Malfoy

Teen Narcissa Black

They're both a bit pencil-necked. Believe me, it used to be worse on Lucius. I'm almost proud of the sketch of Lucius... he looks much how I picture Draco at that age as well. I'm definitely planning to fix Narcissa at some point and re-upload her, but this was my first attempt at Narcissa that didn't turn into a drawing of a man.

Disclaimer: Characters and names mostly belong to Joanne K. Rowling, not to me. I include Severus Snape's parents in this only because he does not seem the sort to have been born under a cabbage leaf, and does, probably, have parents. We've probably even seen them in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
